Rosa Idora Guitterrez (nee Belisle), age 103, made her transition to heaven Sunday, June 25, 2017. Born January 31, 1914, in Belize City, Belize. In 1973, she moved to the Brooklyn, New York. In 1978, she moved to Chicago to care for her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and solving cross-word puzzles. She is survived by two sons and a host of grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her only true love, Joseph Guitterrez and six children.
The calling will be held Saturday, July 1st at the Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, IL 60409 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m., followed by her Homegoing Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews the Apostle Church, in Calumet City.
