Robert "Bob" A. Haluska, of Schererville, Indiana, born on September 8, 1944 in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Oda (Clark) & Peter Haluska, passed away at age 73 on June 5, 2018 at St Anthony's Hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. He graduated from East Chicago Washington for high school in 1963. He was a metallurgical inspector at Arcelor-Mittal until retiring in 2006. Robert married to Toni on July 22, 1972. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen; and grandchild, Jose. Robert is survived by his daughters, Connie McKinney and Michelle (Brian) Belcher; brothers, James Haluska and Thomas (Cheri) Haluska; grandchildren, Bryan, Ashlyn, Michael, Kayla, Carley, Sara, Alicia, Emma, Juliana, Joseph, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Paisley, and Leveigh and several nieces and nephews. Some of Robert's hobbies were bowling, baseball, golfing, and working on cars. He was known for coaching bowling (YABA, Plaza Lanes, Highland) for 35 years, Highland High School Bowling Team for 3 years and coaching softball for Griffith Town Ball. Private arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home of Dyer, Indiana.
