I enjoyed working with Bob during his time as a consultant at Sargent & Lundy in Chicago. He had a good combination of mechanical/technical, economic, and analytic capabilities--a broad set of well-developed skills that one does not often find in one person. He was a good colleague, and I'm sorry to hear he's passed away.

Pat, Amy, Rob, Trevor and Nicko,
I've spent at least 50 holidays with you and Bob over the last 25 years. I always enjoyed Bob's quiet/calm demeanor, sly wit, and great sense of humor. I'm sure he's in a better place now that his battle is over (probably enjoying a good red wine with great legs!) I'll see you soon to lend you a modicum of support and celebrate his life.
