Marjorie C. Haines, 88 of Munster, IN passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born March 15, 1929 in Albany, NY to Benjamin R. and Virginia Child. She is survived by her four children: Rebecca (late Richard) Geisen, Peter (Gail) Haines, Sarah (Dick) vanVianen and Martha (Shane) Boucher and nine grandchildren: Liz, Abby, Katie, Emily, Jeannie, Melissa, Kyle, Bandon and Meaghan. Preceded in death by her brother, Earl Child and sister, Frances Lane. Marjorie was a graduate of State University of New York at Albany, member of Kappa Delta sorority, member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Munster.
Private arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home of Dyer, Indiana. Internment at Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore, NY. Memorials may be given to the Westminster Presbyterian Church handbell choir.
