Lester K. Wiers, age 100, went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2018. Lester is survived by his children: Pauline (Ron) Alcumbrac and Thomas K. (Beverly) Wiers; grandchildren: Sheri Postma, Brad (Lara) Postma, David (Jennifer) Wiers, Beth (Mike) Webb; great-grandchildren: Eddie and Trent Postma, Megan, Julia and Johnathan Wiers, Brian and Catherine Webb. Lester was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Henrietta, who passed away in 2010; parents John and Pauline Wiers; sister Mabel (Howard) Haberman; brother Wesley P. Wiers.

Visitation will be held at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon followed by a Service officiated by Rev. Eric Allan Kleinschmidt at the funeral home and burial where Lester will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.
