Kristin Marie Klisiak "Krissy", age 27, of Dyer, Indiana passed away June 15, 2017 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her favorite teddy bears and stuffed animals. She is survived by her loving parents: Edward and Terri (nee Milicki); cherished sisters: Kim and Jayme (fiancé Will Fern); adored niece Dany Fern; beloved grandmother Irene Milicki; aunt Rose (Dave) Sides; and cousins. Kristin was preceded in death by her loving grandparents: James Milicki and Edward and Bess Klisiak.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a Memorial Service from 1-3 p.m. and a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron officiating.
At age 3 Krissy was the poster child for TradeWinds in Gary, Indiana then attended many schools thru the Westlake Special Education Co-op, graduating from Lake Central High School and TAP-Transition to Adulthood Program. She loved animals more than anything and her trips to Brookfield Zoo, Reptilefest and Build a Bear. Krissy lit up every room she entered and could make the grumpiest person smile often by showing off her spot-on animal impersonations. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends as she touched our hearts as no one else could.
