Karen Ann Swiontek (nee Mazur), age 77, of Vandallia, Michigan passed away November 2, 2017. She was born to Joseph and Leona (nee Kunkel) Mazur on July 24, 1940. Karen is survived by her beloved daughter Dawn (Brian) Blackburn; cherished grandchildren: Katharine (Ryan) Huddleston, Taylor Blackburn and Laura Blackburn; dear siblings: Joseph Mazur and Donna Poppe. Karen was preceded in death by her husband Ronald E Swiontek in 2009.
Funeral services Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 9:30 am from Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, IL 60409 to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial followed by Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 3-7 pm and Tuesday from 8:45 am until time of services at the funeral home.
