Jacob Francis Kamykowski, age 21, of Crown Point, Indiana passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Beloved son of David and Karen L. (nee Hickey) Kamykowski; proud brother of Matthew and Lauren Kamykowski; loving father of Arianna Grace and devoted to Arianna's mom, the love of his life, Alyssa Marie Klootwyk; cherished grandson of Ronald and Norma Hickey and the late Frank and Eleanor Kamykowski; loving nephew of Kathy (Joel) Hickey Kreger, Keith (Michele) Hickey, Kevin Hickey (his Godfather), Kurt (KellyAnn) Hickey, Kerry (Kasha) Hickey, Jill Suchomel Hickey (his Godmother), Tom (Anne) Kamykowski (his Godfather), Debbie (Steve) Delbovo and Karen S. Kamykowski; dearest cousin to many; loving friend to so many here and in Florida; best bud to Nick Zekor, whom he loved like a brother.

Jake's life will be celebrated on Friday, March 23, 2018 at ROSEMOOR FUNERAL HOME: 17943 S. Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL 60438 with a visitation for immediate family from 2-3 p.m. and for family and friends from 3-7 p.m. Pastor Susan Devermann will officiate a service at 6:00 p.m.

Jake was a talented young man. He loved the Cubs, Bears, and pretty much all sports. He was an avid baseball player and musician. Jake loved playing his guitar and singing. He also loved fishing, camping and the beach. He was a talented mechanic and a great salesmen. He had a beautiful soul and was a Christian. Jake was a very spiritual soul and we know he is resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord, which is what he truly deserves. A special thanks to all his friends and counselors in Florida for loving him so much.
