Diane Judith Perkins (nee Spier) Obituary

Diane Judith Perkins (nee Spier), age 77, of Hammond, Indiana, formerly of Lansing, Illinois passed away May 27, 2018. She is survived by her loving daughter Denise (Robert) Sorge, adored grandson Aaron (Molly Schubert) Sorge; dear sister-in-law Sue Spier. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marion (nee Hunt) Spier and brother James Spier.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Diane spent most of her life serving others at public and private events. She worked the voting polls and was known as "Judge Judy". She enjoyed NASCAR and loved spending time with her family and her beloved cat China.
