Mary G. Leonard (nee Neuhalfen), 95, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1961, all three of her sons, James, Frederick and Thomas and her sister, Velma Ahern. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ritamarie (late Frederick), grandchildren, Wendy, Michael (Karie), Joe (Cindy), James (Bobbie Ann), John (Lynn), Mark (Danielle), Jennifer, and Kevin, as well as 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9th, at St. Ann Church: 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the church service at St. Ann's.
Mary was employed at Sherwin Williams in Chicago as a secretary in Process Engineering for many years. She served her parish, St. Ann, as a Minister of Care for several years, as well. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to read, crochet and knit. She will be missed by all.
