Maureen E. Verhulst - Valiunas (nee Cloonan), age 57, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away Monday, July 9, 2012. She is survived by her beloved husband Vince; cherished children: Tony, Jessica, Nathan, Nicholas, Samantha, Chris and Jon; adored grandchildren: Peyton, Alexis, Cameron, Arie, Averie, Alyce, Jenna, Gianna and Gage. Maureen is also survived by her loving mother, brother and sisters.

Maureen's family and friends will gather to celebrate her life with a visitation on Friday, July 13th from 2-8 p.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, Illinois 60409. Interment will be private.

To the family of Maureen, Words can not even express how sorry I am for your loss. My deepest condolences to everyone(including myself) who loves this Dear Sweet Woman. I have had the pleasure of knowing Maureen when I worked at Meijer as a cashier, and she was doing samples on the weekends. When I was working she would always come through my line and skip all the other cashiers.
She liked me better, she always said =) She always made my day Brighter, always put a smile on my face when I was having a bad day, and her day was no better.
I am so saddened to hear of Maureen going home to the Lord, but also happy because she will be in no more pain nor sick anymore. I was always worried about her. She was like family to me. Always gave me advice. I love Maureen a lot and will miss her so much.. Fly with the Angels Maureen, and watch over your family and friends please. Love You always!

i am so sorry for your loss. thoughts and prayers to the family i met maureen when i worked at meijers. we used to talk all the time in the breakroom. she has a heart of gold. she was loved and will be missed dearly.
