I loved working with Bill a the RFB&D studio, where I was the production director. I always called Bill "the Wizard" because of his awesome beard and vast knowledge of the subject matters he read - he reminded me of Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings! He was a quiet, friendly little guy who could be counted on every single week to come in and produce flawless work. I'm sorry to hear of his passing but I have great memories of him!

I was so sorry to hear just yesterday of Bill's passing. I knew Bill from his volunteer work with Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic). He was an excellent volunteer who recorded college-level mathematics. Although he had no prior experience with computers, he embraced digital recording with ease. A fellow volunteer once said of Bill's work, "Lordan does everything right." I also remember him as a very pleasant gentleman. Please accept my sincere condolences. Norma Carter

So sorry to hear of Professor Lordan's passing. He was a wonderful, fair and accomplished instructor that gave me encouragement to pursue my engineering studies at Purdue Cal over 40 years ago. I will always remember him with respect and appreciation!
