Marilyn Deakin (nee Sharp)

Marilyn Deakin (nee Sharp), age 72, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away September 26, 2017 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Grace Sharp, sister Gloria Mucha, brother Robert Sharp, son Michael Deakin and daughter Lisa Deakin. Marilyn is survived by her brother Harry (Carole) Sharp, sister-in-law Elizabeth Sharp, daughter-in-law Amy Deakin, 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Private arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home of Dyer, Indiana. Friends may make a donation in Marilyn's name to the Calumet Humane Society if they wish.
