Joseph C. Lucito, age 83, of Dyer, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away on December 10, 2017. He is survived by his wife Jo Anne (nee Keilman); 4 children: Joseph (Jill), Richard, Judy (Charlie) and John (Kelli); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Makarewich; brother Anthony (Patricia); and numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Concettina; and brother Lawrence.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 directly at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church: 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, IN 46311 with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Charles Niblick officiating at 2:00 p.m. He will be privately laid to rest at St. John-St. Joseph Mausoleum in Hammond, IN.
Joe worked many years for Local 142 (Truckdriver for Goldblatt's) and Lasalle Steel before retiring from Franciscan Hammond as a supervisor in risk management.
