Joan Adele Angel, age 49, of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully at the Riley Hospice House in Munster, Indiana surrounded by her loving family on September 5, 2017. Joan is survived by her domestic partner and friend for life, Tom Swets; daughter Samantha Smith; sons: Tristan Swets and Dylan Swets; sister Janice Deitz. She was preceded in death by her parents Augustine "Augie" and Mary Angel.
As she requested, Joan was cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church: 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL 60438. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
