Dean A. Scalzitti "Dino", age 51, of Chicago, Illinois passed away November 24, 2017. He is survived by his parents: Donna (Jerry) Bogue and Anthony (Pearl) Scalzitti; siblings: Randy Scalzitti, Kim Vincent, Jerry (Michelle) Bogue, Christopher (Deanna) Bogue, numerous nieces and nephews especially his godchild: Sophia Scalzitti and nephew: Zachary Scalzitti; along with aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Dean's life on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a visitation from 4-8 p.m. and a service at 7:00 p.m.
Dean, the owner of Dart Builders, was a hard-working carpenter. He had a passion for the theater; acting on stage and behind the scenes, building the sets for PAC Rats plays at South Suburban College. He loved spending time with his family and was a very giving individual. Dean will be forever loved and missed.
