Charles Arthur Emerick

​Charles Arthur Emerick, age 79, of Thornton, Illinois passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley (nee JaBaay), loving children: Tamara (Gary) Lagesse, Teri (Jim) Amsden and Tonya (Robert) Schassburger; cherished grandchildren: Alexandria, Daniel, Tanner, Julia, Jared and Justin. Charles was preceded in death by his son Timothy, parents Delbert Sr. and Rita (nee Blanchard), brother Delbert Jr. and sister Beverly.

​Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Andrew Lutheran Church: 845 W. Strieff Lane, Glenwood, Illinois 60425  followed by interment services at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery of Monee, Illinois. Family and friends will gather for a visitation Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home and Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church
